PURPOSE:To produce a type wheel capable of being drawn out from a casting die more securely and produced in a higher yield, a predetermined range (from a back surface) of surfaces perpendicular to a type face other than slanted surfaces of a projection provided at a support part of a type is made to be surfaces whereon an appropriate friction is generated. CONSTITUTION:Side surfaces 26 of flat parts 21, 22, 25 of the back surface corresponding to a part between two types 41, 42 are perpendicular to the type face and are satinized. Die surfaces of the casting die on the back surface side corresponding to the side surfaces 26 are also satinized. When the die is opened after casting, each type body of a type wheel remains adhered to the die 52 on the back surface side, because the friction between the cast product and the die at the satinized surfaces is large. |
