Hose balance for taring horizontal areas

According to the invention, a hose balance consisting of a transparent hose and two devices is used for taring horizontal areas. One leg of the hose is firmly mounted on one device. This device has a vertical displaceable zero point adjustment and can be fixed in location on the horizontal area. The other leg of the hose is mounted on a second device in such a manner that the hose can be vertically displaced. This device is applied to the horizontal area via an extension part. Using a scale, the respective meniscus height can be read off or, when applied to different locations on the horizontal area, the difference from an arbitrarily selected zero point can be determined.
