<p>Polyarylether sulphones of formula: (where Ar is a divalent arom. gp., m and n are integers, m: n is 19-2: 1-3 and O is an integer 1-100 but pref. 10-60) may be prod. by reacting dialkali diphenates in strong polar soln. at 80 - 170 degrees C with an equimolar quantity of a 4,4'-dihalogdiphenyl sulphone and 2,2', 4,4' tetrachloro diphenyl ether in a mol ratio of 19-2:1-3.</p> |
