DISSOLVED URANIUM ION ADSORBING AGENT AND PREPARATION THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare an uranium adsorbing agent having high selectivity to an uranium ion, by reacting a specific amino acid or an imino dicarboxylic acid with a high molecular compound having a chlorosulfonyl group. CONSTITUTION:An amino acid or an imino dicarboxylic acid shown by a general formula[I]such as glycine, alanine or imino diacetate is reacted with 1- 16mol equivalent to a chlorosulfonyl group of an org. high molecular compound having the chlorosulfonyl group such as a crosslinked polystyrene bead in the presence of a basic catalyst such as NaOH or KOH. An uranium adsorbing agent which is an org. high molecular compound having a sulfonamide derivative shown by a general formula[II]in the side chain thereof and collects a minute amount of an uranium ion contained in an aqueous solution selectively in a high yield is obtained.
