PURPOSE:To perform adequate heating control over a heater control system for liquid metallic Na, by dividing electric heaters into two groups, and powering up one group of heaters all the time while powering up and down the other group of heaters so that equipment to be heated is held at prescribed temperature. CONSTITUTION:Electric heaters added to equipment 1 to be heated are divided into two groups 2a and 2b, and are connected to a power source 5 through electromagnetic contactors 4a and 4b respectively. A temperature detector 3 installed at the circumference of the equipment 1 discriminates whether the temperature of the equipment is lower or higher than prescribed temperature, and sends its output to a temperature controller 6. An electric heater turning- on/off command signal 7 from the temperature controller 6 is inputted to the contactor 4b to power up and down the heater 2b under the control. The heater 2a, on the other hand, is powered up and down by a signal from a heating mode deciding circuit 8. In this case, the heater 2a has such capacity that even when the heater 2a is powered up all the time with the heater 2b turned off, the temperature of the equipment 1 never exceeds its limit value. |
