The invention relates to an offset printing plate burning-in machine which operates by the horizontal pass method and has conveyor belt tables (3, 4), extending on both sides of a central burning-in station (2) through which the offset printing plate (29) runs, and heating elements arranged in the region of the burning-in station. To achieve a constructional shape which is advantageous in use and provides an even, shadow-free burning-in of the ink layers, it is proposed that the burning-in station (2) be assigned its own conveyor belt (18) which extends over the length of the burning-in station and is independent of the conveyor belt tables (3, 4) in such a way that the incoming strand (T1) of this conveyor belt (18) runs above the heat source (22), the latter being supported on a reflection surface (24) below which the returning strand (T2) of the conveyor belt is arranged. The conveyor belt (18) which is located only within the burning-in station (2) is no longer subjected to harmful temperature fluctuations. The burning-in quality is increased. <IMAGE>
