PURPOSE:To facilitate operations with reduced errors in selection of tracks and freedom from cross talks by using a switch which sets recording modes so as to prevent synchronous pingpong recording on adjacent tracks. CONSTITUTION:Selecting switch circuits S1-S4 for recroding and reproducing which connect reproducing circuits P1-P4 and recording circuits R1-R4 selectively to four magnetic heads H1-H4 are constituted of selecting switches having selecting contacts P for reproduction and selecting contacts R for recording. The circuits S1-S4 are controlled by relays RL1, RL2, RL3 and RL4. A switch 13 for setting selecting mode for recording tracks is constituted of the movable piece 5a moved by an operating part 5 of the switch SW1 and a contact (a) and sets a synchronous pingpong recording mode. The recording tracks are assigned by operating switch contacts T1-T4 and these contacts are connected respectively to one end of relays RL1-RL4. |
