PURPOSE:To reduce noise of pump upon idling operation by a method wherein, upon the idling operation, in which a small discharging amount of fuel is requested to the fuel pump, the revolution number of an electric motor for driving pump is reduced as compared with a case of non-idling operation. CONSTITUTION:When an idle switch 14 has not detected the idling operation, a switch 11 is opened, the break contact 8b of a relay switch 8 is closed and the electric current of an electric source 5 is supplied to a D.C. motor 2. On the other hand, upon the idling operation, the switch 11 is closed, the coil 8a of the relay switch 8 is conducted to open the break contact 8b and the current of the electric source 5 is supplied to the D.C. motor 2 through a resistor element 9. According to this operation, the revolution number of the D.C. motor 2 may be reduced. |
