PURPOSE:To reduce the waste of electricity, by turning off the power supply as soon as the performance of a music source is over for a stereo device which an instrument serving as the music source and an amplifier are formed independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:The T signal output of a player 10 is changed to a high level from a low level when the record performance is over. The signal T is supplied to an amplifier 30 via a terminal c' to turn on a transistor 33 for a certain period. When the transistor 33 is turned on, a relay 34 is turned off with the output of a control logic 36. Thus the application of the +V power supply is cut off to the player 10, a tuner 20 and a display circuit 50 respectively. In such way, the waste of electricity can be reduced. The same effect is obtained if a tape deck, a video device, etc. are used in place of the player 10. |
