PURPOSE:To improve combustion efficiency of fuel, by forming air intake ports, diagonally toward the leading side of one of the both side housings while diagonally toward the trailing side of the other side housing in an engine, and feeding only air to the air intake port in the trailing side. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 performs planetary rotary motion in a casing constituted by a rotor housing 1 and side housings 3, 4. An air intake port 5, provided in one side housing 3, is diagonally formed to the leading side 13 of a space A, while another air intake port 6, provided in the other side housing 4, is diagonally formed to the trailing side 14. Then a mixture and air are supplied respectively from the air intake port 5 and 6. In this way, the rotor 2 is rotated to compress a mixture, when the mixture reaches a combustion chamber B, combustion of the rich mixture, concentrated to the leading side 13, is fully performed, and combustion efficiency as a whole in the combustion chamber B can be improved. |
