<p>PURPOSE:To selectively transfer toner to form a toner image, by applying voltate to a photoconductive drum bearing a toner image and a transfer paper, and simultaneously exposing the drum to a light image from behind. CONSTITUTION:Voltage 16 is applied to a transparent electrode 3 and a developing roller 6 to transfer toner 5 onto an insulating layer 1 by an electrostatic force and form a toner layer 5. Then, voltage 15 is applied to the layer 3 and a transfer roller 10, and at the same time a photoconductive layer 2 is exposed to a light image using a light emitting diode 13, and only the exposed parts of the layer 2 is made conductive, and only the toner 5 on these parts is transferred onto a transfer paper 9 to form a toner image 23.</p> |
