PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a key, by dividing the numerical data fed continuosuly through the numerical register key with the set digit number data and then registering and processing the divided numerical data in the form of a unit price data. CONSTITUTION:A digit number data 3 is preset in accordance with the department code and then stored in an amount register of an RAM7. In case the unit price data of 2 digits is fed with a department code 1, the 2-digit key of the amount digit number key is operated. Then the code 1 is fed through a department key, and the unit price of 2 digits is fed with operation of a numerical register key. In cade the next article has the code 1 and the unit price data of digit number 3, 3 digits of the amount digit number key are operated. Then the numerical data are fed continuously by the numerical register key. A CPU5 divides the numerical data of continuous digit number with the digit number 3 and processes the divided numerical data in the form of a unit price data. These amount data are displayed at a display 3 along with the department code and then printed on a receipt by a printer 4. |
