<p>The felt web passes between aligned perforated upper and intermediate plates, around a return roller, and then back between the intermediate plate and a lower aligned perforated plate, and a needle bar reciprocates so that the needles extend through the perforations in all the plates so that the web is needled from both sides. Pref. the web is drawn through the needling mechanism by drawing rollers at the outlet of the mechanism.</p> |
