PURPOSE:The titled food and drink, prepared by incorporating a powder or an extracted substance from Ganoderma lucidum Karst. in a coffee drink or powder, and having reduced toxic action of the coffee. CONSTITUTION:A food and drink, obtained by incorporating a powder or extracted substance from Ganoderma lucidum Karst. in an amount of 50-500mg/ day expressed in terms of water-soluble components of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst., and having reduced toxic action of the coffee components. The powder of extracted substance of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. resembles the coffee in the sensation except a part of the flavor. The color is brown, and the taste is bitter. The flavor is of a vegetable smell, and the unique mushroom smell and bitterness are absorbed and softened by the flavor and the bitterness of the coffee. Thus, the components of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. can be drunk and eaten without any unwillingness. |
