PURPOSE:To improve discharge capacity by using metal lithium as a negative pole active material and a mixture of copper oxide and lead oxide as a positive pole active material. CONSTITUTION:When a mixture of copper oxide and lead oxide is used as a positive pole active material, discharge capacity inceases compared with the case wherein these are separately used each other. For instance, a battery (D), wherein an equiweight mixture of cupric oxide and trilead tetroxide is used as a positive pole active material, has larger discharge capacity than the batteries (A) and (H), wherein cupric oxide and trilead tetroxide are separately used each other, having also an even discharge ch aracterstic. |
