PURPOSE:To provide a fixable recording material free from discoloring of the texture with an excellent heat response by providing a heat sensitive color developing layer containing sodium thiosulfate on a supporting body or a heat sensitive color developing layer on a supporting layer impregnated with sodium thiosulfate. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1pt.wt. of diazo compound of formulaI, II or the like, (B) a coupler (e.g. phenol), (C) 2-30pts.wt. of a hot-melting material with a melting or softening point of 50-250 deg.C (e.g. 2-tribromoethanol), (D) a binder (e.g. PVA) and (E) 0.1-20pts.wt. of sodium thiosulfate are dissolved and dispersed in a solvent to obtain a coating liquid for forming a layer. Then, this liquid is applied and dried on a supporting body such as paper and plastic sheet or a supporting body impregnated with sodium thiosulfate to form a heat sensitive color developing layer. |
