PURPOSE:To prevent an electric cord or the like from being disclosed without special protection, by wiring the cord or the like through the hollow part of a support capable of holding it movably up and down to the main body of a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A support pillar 55 is fixed to the main body 62 of a copying machine, with the upper cover 59 fixed along the pillar groove 61 of the main body 62 as a guide slidably in the vertical direction as shown in an arrow E. The whole of an automatic original feed device can be moved upward, the pillar 55 is hollow like a pipe, and the cord is passed through it to connect the main body 62 with said feeder, permitting the cord not to be disclosed and kept safe even when said feeder moves upward. |
