PURPOSE:To provide a pump, which is capable of transporting fluid in both of normal and reverse directions, so that air bubbles are formed in water in a tank, and if necessary, water in the tank can be discharged to the outside by drawing water by the pump. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 2 is turned in a direction A shown by arrow in the drawing by a prime mover (not shown), rollers 7 are turned in a casing 1 in contact with the inner surface of the casing 1 while causing rotation around their own axes at the same time. The pump draws air from a pipe 9 and then to the inside of the casing 1 from a port 5. The air thus introduced into the casing 1 is compressed and conveyed under pressure from a port 4 into a disk 10 via a pipe 8. Air in the disk 10 is scattered into water from many small holes 11 as a number of air bubbles, so that the amount of oxygen dissolved in water is increased.Therefore, the pump is useful, for instance, for cultivating fish in the water tank. Or otherwise, if the disk 10 is set in a bathtub, body cleaning and vibrating effects will be obtained. On the other hand, if the rotor 2 is turned in reverse direction, water in the tank 12 can be discharged to the outside. |
