PURPOSE:To accurately measure a flow rate even if the flow rate is reduced by fitting a variable throttle means to the inside of a pipe conduit and measuring the difference of pressure between the inlet and outlet of two laminar flow pipes fitted both the sides of the variable stopping means. CONSTITUTION:A variable throttle means 2 enabled to adjust the throttle rate of orifice is formed at the inside of a fluid transportation pipeline Laminar flow thin tubes 3, 3 are straightly arranged on both the sides of the throttle means 2 so that the fluid flows into the pipeline 1 like laminar flow. Takeout tubes 4, 4' are connected to the inlet of one laminar flow tube 3 and the outlet of the other laminar flow tube 3 and these tubes 4, 4' are connected to a U-shaped tube 5 to store a medium 6 in the U-shaped tube 6 and find the flow rate by measuring the difference DELTAh of height of the medium 6. |
