PURPOSE:To effectively produce total output of a single phase commutator motor by controlling the conducting angles of bidirectional AC 3-pole control elements in response to the increase of decrease in the generated voltage of the motor. CONSTITUTION:When single phase AC voltage is applied to terminals 1, 2 a condenser 92 is charged, its terminal voltage reaches the trigger voltage of a bidirectional trigger element 92, and when the trigger current flows to the gate of a bidirectional 3-pole control element 3, the 3-pole control element 3 becomes ON, and a single phase AC commutator motor 4 starts operating. When the resistance values of resistors 71, 81 are suitably selected on response to the positive or negative wave and variable resistors 73 are sequentially increased, half-wave or full-wave operation can be performed. |
