PURPOSE:To obtain the titled pump which is inexpensive and reliable having a simplified structure and capable of making an eficient use of ink by a method wherein valve effect is given by an input hole of the pump and an output hole thereof which have different fluid resistances. CONSTITUTION:A tank 6 and a pump 14 are brought into close contact and connected to each other through a non-vaporizing air inlet 15. The inlet is 50- 200mum in diameter and 10-100mm. in length. By closing and pushing an open air inlet 17 of the pump 14 by a finger 18, the air 8 in the tank 6 is compressed through the inlet 15 and ink 7 is supplied from an outlet 19 to the head. When the finger is separated, the pressure in the pump becomes equal to the open pressure. Since the fluid resistance is high in the inlet 15 the air in the tank flows off only slowly and the pressure in the tank rises by the repeated performances of the pump. |
