PURPOSE:To promote the cooling effect inside an engine cover by forming vent apertures in swells, the front end part of the engine cover which swells from a seat, so as to supply air while driving into the cover. CONSTITUTION:The front part of a cover 17 swells left and right from a seat post. Air while driving flows from apertures 24 to the front part inside the cover and some flows along the periphery of a shroud 15 and runs from an inlet part 20a of a passage 20 into it while absorbed by the flow of forced cooling air so as to enhance the cooling effect for the muffler. The other flows into a passage 23 which contains a carburetor 21, an air cleaner 22 and so to cool them and runs backward. The air therefore effectively cools the peripheral devices supplied if an engine is mounted inside the cover. |
