PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device which manufactures upset products of superior quality with high precision successively and automatically, by feeding materials from a cutting stage out of a system temporarily,and supplying them to the 1st die after proper working treatment and then pressure-striking the materials. CONSTITUTION:A round rod material 1 fed intermittently through a linear guide 12 is cut to a fixed size at the tip opening 2a of a quill 2 by a moving cutter 3 which crosses it. Simultaneously with the cutting, those cut materials 1' are carried to right before a lower pusher 8 together with the cutter 3 to fall on a chute 24. AFter the material 1' on the chute 24 is sent to and treated by an adequate treating device, the obtained blank 1'' is sent in a blank treating cylinder 18 and further carried to right over a puhser 7 while fitted in a supply opening 6 through the movement of the cutter 3. Simultaneously with the return of the cutter 3, the blank 1'' is pushed out by the pusher 7 and pushed in a transfer chuck 9. In next operation, the blank 1'' carried to right before the 1st die 5a is struck and further carried by the chuck to the 2nd and 3rd dies on every operation, thus obtaining prescribed upset products. |
