PURPOSE:To prevent yarns from being untied before and after cutting, when yarn stripes of glass strand, consisting of glass monofiament, are tied together, by dividing one of the yarn stripes into two parts before its end, forming a ring and combining the both yarn stripes in said ring. CONSTITUTION:When one end of a glass strand bundle 1 is tied to one end of another glass strand bundle 1, the one bundle 1 is divided into two parts before its end, and a ring is formed by one of the two divided parts. Bordering this ring, the rest of the two divided parts of the glass strand bundle 1 and the other glass strand bundle 1 are combined in a crossing state. Further, one end part of the two divided glass strand bundle 1 is extended through a ring formed by the undivided glass strand bundle 1. In this tie, the bundle 1 is not untied by tension before cutting, while the tie can be easily untied by cutting, and a good scattered state of the glass strand can be obtained. |
