PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of recording due to wrinkles by equalizing the tension of a sheet during the delivery and stoppage periods by providing a device to slacker the tension of the sheet during the delivery and stoppage periods in the ink donor sheet supply path. CONSTITUTION:When recording is finished and the rear end of a recording paper 16 is completely separated from the separation portion, a drive motor 9 is stopped and at the same time a solenoid 24 is excited. Whereupon, an operation part 23 is turned counterclockwise to lower an operation part 21 and thereby the tension of an ink donor sheet 1 between a donor supply roller 2 and the recording portion A is sufficiently lowered, avoiding the generation of nonuniform tension on both sides of a guide roller 19. Then, when power is supplied to the drive motor 9 when starting recording, the solenoid 24 is demagnetized, the operation part 21 is pushed up to the plate where the tension of the ink donor sheet 24 is balanced with the spring force of a tension coil spring 25, and under the condition the ink donor sheet 1 is delivered. |
