PURPOSE:To improve ignition peculiarity and safety, by so constituting that after ignition of mixture gas of fuel and combustion air by a burner the mixture gas together with secondary air are passed through a medium reaction tank. CONSTITUTION:Through an operation of a blower 1 a switching valve 3 is turned on and fuel from a fuel supply duct 2 and combustion air are turned into a mixture gas in a fixed excess air ratio in a premixing chamber 4. A Bunsen flame is formed by igniting the mixture gas supplied to a multipipe pilot burner 6 by a spark plug 8. At this time, the excess air ratio is adjusted so that it burns with a blue flame. With this, soot adhesion to a medium reaction tank is prevented from occurring. A part of air from the blower 1 passing through a rectifier plate 7, which is turned into secondary air is flowed into the medium reaction tank 10 and burnt completely through a medium. The switch valve 3 is controlled by measuring 12 a temperature of the medium reaction tank 10. With this constitution, even if the temperature of the medium reaction tank 10 becomes high an upstream side can be kept at comparatively low temperature by a carrier 11, back fire can be prevented from occurring and safety and ignition characteristics can be improved. |
