PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of movement of objects to be read and, at the same time, to reduce the size and weight of the titled mechanism, by moving the shifting reflecting mirror and the light detection in an direction opposite to each other under interlocked condition. CONSTITUTION:A shifting reflecting mirror 3 and a light detector 7 are moved in an direction opposite to each other under interlocked condition by a guide 9. The light from a light source 2 is reflected by an object to be read 1 and reaches the light detector 7 after passing through the shifting reflecting mirror 3, the 1st and 2nd fixed reflecting mirrors 5a and 5b and a lens 6. Since the 1st and 2nd shifting bodies 4 and 8 are connected with each other with a steel wire 10, the optical path from the shifting reflecting mirror 3 to the light detector 7 is always constant. Therefore, clear image formations are always obtained on the light receiving plane of the light detector 7. |
