PURPOSE:To provide a titled device prevented from the deviation of a pass- line adjusting liner and abrasions, etc., by providing a sliding base moving with both of a lower back-up roll chock and the pass-line adjusting liner in one body. CONSTITUTION:In a cross rolling mill, rolling a plate material 1 by work rolls 2 and 2' and back-up rolls 3 and 3', both of a pass-line adjusting liner 15 and a horizontally movable sliding base 14 are inserted between a lower back-up roll chock 7' and a bottom beam 21'. In cross rolling action, as lower cross beams 22', driven by jacks 13a', 13b', 13c', and 13d' used for the lower roll, touch both the roll chock 7' and the sliding base 14 at the same time and move both the members together with the liner 15 in one body, a generation of relatively slipping phenomenon between these members is avoided. |
