PURPOSE:To rigidly connect tapes without local increase of the thickness of the tapes by exfoliating and removing the kraft sheets at the ends of bot tapes to be bonded, butting the ends of the tapes, contacting and bonding a connecting plastic film to the portion to be removed. CONSTITUTION:Kraft sheets 3, 3' of one sides of one ends 4, 4' of composite tapes 1, 1' are exfoliated and removed to expose the one sides of plastic films 2, 2', both the films 2, 2' are butted, a bonding plastic film 5 is contacted to one side of the butted part, and the butted surfaces are bonded with an adhesive 6. Since the films can be connected almost without an increase in the thickness of the connected part, the films can be rigidly connected. When the tapes are thick and require strong connecting strength, it is preferable to exfoliate and remove the sheets 3, 3' at both side surfaces and to employ a method of bonding connecting films 5, 5' at both side surfaces. |
