PURPOSE:To easily perform a corrosion prevention work for steel pipe struts set in harbors, etc., and concreting work by covering the undersea portion of the steel pipe struts with an anticorrosive cover. CONSTITUTION:A cover 2 made of FRP, having a slightly shorter length than an anticorrosive region, is covered over the undersea portion of a steel pipe strut 1, and then a filler is charged into the cover 2. A bracket 4, etc., is welded to the upper steel pipe portion, a form is placed, and concrete is placed to construct an upper concrete 3. Afterwards, the bracket 4 and the form are removed, a split type cover 7 is covered on the remaining steel pipe portion, and then flanges 8 are attached to the cover 7. Then, a seal is inserted into between the cylindrical cover 2 and the split type cover 7 or a filler is charged into the aperture between the concrete 3 and the cover 7. |
