PURPOSE:To modify an output value so that it is confined within a set output tolerance by providing beforehand one or more output adjusting leads which can be cut off as occasion calls, and by cutting them off according to the result of measurement. CONSTITUTION:Leads for input 10, common use 11, output 12 and output adjustment 13 and 14 are led out from the package 8 of a voltage regulator 7, and the leads 12-14 are connected in parallel in the package 8 through the intermediary of resistors R1-R3. When the assembly of the device is completed, the characteristics thereof is inspected, cutting-off of the leads 13 and 14 is decided, resistance is varied, and thereby the precision of output is improved. When non-adjustment by no cutting is added to three ways of fine adjustment by selective cutting of the leads 13 and 14, available ways of adjustment total to four, and thus the regulator of high precision can be obtained. |
