PURPOSE:To save energy of a ship by circulating hot water heated at a cooler to heat the equipment to be heated. CONSTITUTION:A fresh water fed by a pump 10 to a fresh water cooler 2 provided at the scavenging cooler 4 of a main engine 1 is heated by cooling the engine 1, and heats an equipment 5 to be heated when passing therethrough. Accordingly, the fuel cost of a heat source such as a boiler of the equipment 5 such as a heater 8 can be saved. When the output of the engine 1 is lowered, its temperature is decreased, the heat obtained from the cooler 4 by the hot water in a pipe 9 becomes reduced, and the temperature of the hot water is lowered. This temperature drop is detected by a temperature control valve 17 to switch the conduit to the bypass side, and the hot water is directed through a heat takeup coil 13 in the heat accumulator 11 toward the equipment 5 to be heated. |
