A thresher concave (4) for combine harvesters includes at least one elongate appendage (7) which projects substantially as an extension of the thresher concave (4) beyond the rear edge (6) of the latter, and is articulated to the fixed structure (1) of the harvester about a transverse axis. The thresher concave (4) is, moreover, suspended adjustably from the fixed structure (1) of the harvester only close to its front edge (5).
