PURPOSE:To completely prevent the disorder of printing paper by checking whether the output of a paper movement sensor is sent forth at what time period after the command of improving printing columns. CONSTITUTION:In a column-improving register 24, the number of columns to be improved is set by data bath 23 and a strobe signal line 22, and its output 25 is put in a column improving control circuit 27. When a column-improving command signal line 26 is driven, the column improving control circuit 27 begins to operate, and by its output signal 28, a tractor 29 is driven to move papers. The speed of the tractor 29 is controlled with speeds such as to show trapezoidal shape with acceleration, constant speed, deceleration, and stoppage. |
