PURPOSE:To prevent small articles from falling at starting of a vehicle while easily pick up the small article, in a glove compartment provided in an instrument panel and the like and opened to the side of a car room, by providing a stopper retractable from a protruding a position, to a lower edge part of an opening of the glove compartment. CONSTITUTION:A glove compartment B is provided to a housing box 7, mounted to the lower part of a resin made instrument panel and housed with a cassette deck, radio, etc., and formed by securing a glove compartment main unit 9 to the rear side of an edge frame 8, a compartment opening formed to the housing box 7. In this case, a stopper S is provided to the lower edge part of the opening of the glove compartment B, that is, a lower frame panel 8a of the edge frame 8. This stopper S, when the housing box 7 is formed, is simultaenously formed as an integral unit with a thin thickness hinge part 10 as a connection part. Further the first and second elastically deformable protrusions 11, 12 and click 13 are integrally formed to a left side and rear edge of the stopper S, and each protrusion 11, 12 is engaged to the lower frame panel 8a to hold the stopper S. |
