PURPOSE:To precisely and easily detect the leakage of fluid by time sharing to a standard pulse signal a flow rate counting signals from two flow meters set up on the upper and down stream sides respectively to detect the leakage phenomenon of fluid in a pipe and detecting the existence of leakage and its quantity from the difference of pulse periods of standard pulse signals in the unit of flow rate between the signals of said flow meters. CONSTITUTION:Out of flow rate generating pulses having almost the same weight which are generated from two flow meters 2, 3 set up on the upper and down stream sides of a flow pipe 1 for transmitting required fluid, a standard pulse of which frequency is extremely higher than that of a flow rate generating pulse passing during one period of pulse periods of flow rate generating pulses on the upper or down stream side is inputted to an adding/subtracting counter 20 as an adding input. An output of the counter 20 which inputs the standard pulse through a scaler 18 as a subtracting input during one period out of pulse periods on the other side so that the flow rate generating pulses with the same weight are correctly generated is inputted to a digital comparator 23. When an output of the digital comparator 23 reaches an optionally set up value, an alarm is generated or the information is displayed. |
