PURPOSE:To improve workability by removing sectional cores without breaking the same after casting and reuse of said cores by forming a sectional core of three segments. CONSTITUTION:A sectional core 4 is constituted of the 1st segment 8, the 2nd segment 9 and the 3rd segment 10. The segment 8 contains the roudness 7a connecting one tapered surface 5a and parallel surfaces 6a, 6b, and has a mating surface 8a of the surface 5a and the segment 9 in parallel therewith as well as a mating surface 8b with the segment 10. The segment 9 contains a part of the roundness 7b connecting the surface 5b and the surfaces 6a, 6b, and has a mating surface 9a flush with the surface 8a of the segment 8 and a mating surface 9b with the segment 10. The segment 10 contains the remaining part of the roundness 7b connecting the surface 5b and the surfaces 6a, 6b, and has a mating surface 10a flush with the surface 8b of the segment 8, and a mating surface 10b flush with the surface 9b of the segment 9. |
