PURPOSE:To obtain the compact optical sensor having a small number of parts, by placing optical fiber which is bent at a small curvature in a high temperature atmosphere, removing the strain of the fiber, molding said optical fiber with resin, thereby forming the optical sensor. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 201 comprising a core and a clad is bent in a U shape at the small curvature. Then the optical fiber is placed in the high temperature atmosphere wherein the optical fiber 201 reaches a softening point so that the U shaped bent part of the optical fiber 10 is not broken, and the strain is removed. Then the optical fiber 201 whose bent shape is settled is placed in a metal mold. Then the resin is inputted and molded together with the optical fiber 201. Thereafter a groove 204, in which rotary encoder to be measured is placed, is provided. |
