The invention relates to a device for trimming the edges of heat-insulation panels (1) on all sides with the simultaneous waste-free slitting in the longitudinal and transverse direction to reduce the tension ranges. The device consists substantially of two cutting apparatuses (8, 9) arranged one behind the other with vertically movable cutting mechanisms (10). The cutting mechanisms (10) are formed by linear blades (11, 22) which extend parallel to one another and move alternately in opposite directions. The blades (11, 22) of one cutting mechanism (10) are aligned perpendicular to the feed path of the panels (1), the blades (11, 22) of the other cutting mechanism (10) are aligned parallel to the feed path. The edge-trimming blades (22) are reinforced with respect to the slitting blades (11). Upstream of the first cutting device (8) there is disposed a lift table (34) with a feed device (35) for feeding the panels (1) and downstream of the second cutting device (9) there is disposed a lift table (39) for receiving the panel stack; between the two cutting devices is disposed a conveying device (37). The device permits largely automated and dust-free processing of heat-insulation panels (1) which are intended primarily for outdoor façades. <IMAGE>
