<p>PURPOSE:To lessen distorsion in a rubber part of an electromagnetic clutch so as to reduce the length of a shaft by providing the electromagnetic clutch with a pair of hubs having projections for clamping the rubber in the direction of rotation. CONSTITUTION:An electric current is applied to an exciting coil 7 so as to adsorb a rotary main body 3 and an armature 12, thereby to transmit power. A cushion rubber 16 is interposed between the armature 12 and a hub 17 integral with a shaft 20. A projection 26 of a metallic retaining plate 13 fixed on the armature 12 and a projection 25 of the hub 17 fixed on the shaft 20 are extended toward the interior of the cushion rubber 16 and disposed in such a manner as to clamp a part of the rubber in the direction of rotation.</p> |
