PURPOSE:To make spring setting automatically for saw teeth and, at the same time, form skip springs by such an arrangement that the saw teeth are beaten in the direction of saw plane at a certain specified pressure according to the nominal setting output on a counter with its reference based on the feed amount of the table. CONSTITUTION:In the middle approx. of a table 1, a saw plate mounting fixture 4 is installed to hold the saw plate a pinched between a push plate 4a and the table 1. After the teeth part b is protruded from the end face of the table 1 parallelly, a cam plate 15 is rotated through a mechanism such as motor 9 and shaft 12 etc. to allow a hammer 21 to drop on a tooth c with the air of rod 20 operated by a lever 16. At the same time, the tooth c is fed two pitches per revolution of the shaft 12 by a feed device 22. At this time, a pawl 26a of the feed member 26 is moved intermittently in engagemend with a rack 6 or an tooth c. Accordingly, spring setting can be made on the saw teeth acutomatically, in which skip springs can be formed at the same time. |
