PURPOSE:To prevent a leakage of the microwave and to provide a stable support and rotation of the heated material by a method wherein a probe means which is extendable and retractable for supporting the heated material is connected to the load sensor and the probe means is moved out of the heating chamber during a heating operation. CONSTITUTION:Rotary table 4 is supported by the probe aixs 14 and a leaf spring 15 to which the load sensor 8 is fixed, a weight of the heated material 3 is measured and its data are fed to the control unit 9. The axis 14 and the spring 15 are slid vertically by a linkage mechanism 16. The axis 14 is not related to the driving of the rotary table 4, a gear axis 18 is provided as a driving shaft and driven by the motor 19, belt 20, and pulley 21. At a lower central surface of the table 4 is arranged a series of projections 22 engaging with the gear axis 18. Both of then are not engaged with each other when the axis 14 is raised upward, and the table 4 serves as a scale pan. The linkage mechanism 16 is moved downward by the sliding means 17, and the spring 15 and the axis 14 are descended to cause the axis 18 to be engaged with the series of prodections 22 and also cause the table 4 to act as a turn-table by the time the measurement of a weight of the material is finished and a heating of the foodstuff is initiated. |
