The Parent Patent described a system of oxygen enrichment of ambient air by utilising the higher mol. wt. of oxygen than nitrogen in a conical intake channel of permanent magnet material. Several of these systems are now grouped in a hollow body which is revolved so that the centrifugal forces assist the paramagnetic properties of the oxygen molecules. This improves the oxygen enrichment efficiency. Specifically a hollow body with one or more air intake channels has the permanent magnet action intensified by several current-carrying oils, as it revolves. The oxygen enriched layers, which are further away from the centre of rotation, are skimmed off and used for gas turbines, surface water aeration or combustion systems. This process is pref. repeated in several stages. |
