PURPOSE:To provide a one-bath processing method giving an image with superior shelf life stability and high coloring density by processing an exposed color photographic material with an alkaline aqueous soln. contg. peroxide and a fixer in the presence of a Co(III) complex. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide photographic material contg. a color developing agent or its precursor and a dye forming coupler is processed with a one-bath processing soln. prepared by adding H2O2, an org. peroxide compound or the like and a fixer as a solvent for silver halide such as water soluble thiosulfate or thiourea to an alkaline aqueous soln. of a Co(III) complex salt having alkylenediamine, NH3, salicylic acid or the like as the ligand or further adding a preservative, an antifoggant, etc. as required. Thus, a superior color image is obtd. by this one-bath processing method using such a processing soln. which is stored over a long term without exerting unfavorable influence such as desensitization. |
