PURPOSE:To standardize a rotary electric machine by bringing the axial holes of a frame, a stator and a rotor into coincidence with each other, and forming installing holes of two series at installing legs provided at the frame, thereby facilitating the alternation of the direction of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:The axial centers of a frame 1, a stator 2 and a rotor 4 are coincided with a center line 1a. A distance 13 between a coil end 3 and a flanged bearing bracket 10 is sufficiently provided. Installing holes 16 of a series are formed along a line 16a of axial projecting size R measured from the end of the shaft at the installing leg 8 provided at the frame 1 as a center, and installing holes 17 of another series are formed along a line 17a axially displaced reversely at an interval 18 from the center line 1a as a center. In this manner, the projecting direction of the output shaft 5 can be selected in either leftward or rightward, thereby standardizing the machine. |
