PURPOSE:To obtain an image free from unevenness, by providing a metallic layer having a melting point among those of a aluminum and an Se alloy photosensitive layer between a support and the photosensitive layer made of Se or an Se alloy formed on the aluminum support, and reducing protuberances of the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A metal having a melting point among those of aluminum and Se or an alloy of Se, such as Sb, Zn, or Pb, is vapor deposited onto an aluminum support 1 to form a metallic layer 2. A photosensitive layer 3 is formed with Se or an alloy of it on the layer 2, thus permitting protuberances of the surface of the photosensitive layer 3 occurring because of low wettability of the support 1 and the layer 3 with respect to the layer 2 to be reduced, uneven charging of the surface of the layer 3, and uneven attachment of toner during development to be prevented, and a copy image having spots not to be formed. |
