<p>PURPOSE:To perform stable joint pickup without color beat, by taking a joint pickup start track as the next track to the final track of a signal recorded previously. CONSTITUTION:When the pause is released, a signal reproduced from a video head 18 is inputted to a low pass filter 32, a high pass filter 33, and a band pass filter 34 via a preamplifier 31. A reproduced FM luminance signal from the high pass filter 33 is demodulated at an FM demodulator and a vertical synchronizing signal is separated at a vertical synchronizing separation circuit 36. A joint pickup signal is introduced from the band pass filter 34 and detection processing is made at a wave detector 37 only for the synchronizing signal period. The output of the wave detector 37 is given to a Schmitt circuit 38 and this output clears a counter 39. After the counter 39 is cleared, the counter starts counting of vertical synchronizing signals and when a specified number is counted, a system controller of a VTR is switched.</p> |
