PURPOSE:To reduce the cutting time and to improve the accuracy of cutting, by automatically actuating a grinding machine based on the geometrical quantity of a press mold measured by a three-dimensional measuring apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The measurement of the geometrical quantity of the press mold 3 wherein a prescribed quantity of NC machining has been done is appointed to the three-dimensional measuring apparatus 2. The measured values are writen into a measured data memory zone 13b of a data file 13 of a microcomputer 7, and if there are reference values in a data base information memory zone 13a corresponding to th measured values, they are compared, and if there is no such reference value, reference values are computed by a computer 8. Both the values are compared and analyzed in the computer 7, and the differences of the measured values against the reference values are indicated on a color television 15 in different colors, and if necessary on a color plotter 16. Then when grinding conditions are commanded through a key board, the microcomputer 7 computes the grinding range and the grinding quantity, and an automatic grinding robot 5 automatically performs grinding. |
