PURPOSE:To utilize heat contained in a heating burner chamber effectively by increasing the surface area of an air-preheating tube, which constitutes an air- sending device, by enabling the length of the said tube to be made enough long by providing the said tube with a coil-like part. CONSTITUTION:A sintering furnace 3 is provided with a heating burner 8. Phosphor coated tubes 7 placed on a roller bed 2, in order, are sent into a heating burner chamber 1. A coil-like part is provided in the middle of an air- preheating tube 9, and the entire length of the tube 9 is made enoufh long. The furnace 3 is provided with a space 13 which is large enough to install the coil- like part, and the space 13 is connected to the chamber 1. When usual air is sent from an air sending pipe 4, the air is heated with the air-preheating tube 9 having a large thermal capacity, and passes as hot air through a fine blowing pipe 10 before sent into the phosphor coated tube 7. |
