PURPOSE:To readily generate a high DC voltage from a DC power soure by connecting at least two bridged full-wave rectifiers connected in series with the output of a thyristor bridge circuit of serial inverter type through a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor bridge circuit 23 is connected to DC power source lines 21, 22, a full-wave rectifier 5 is connected through current holding reactors 24-26 to the 3-phase outputs of the bridge circuit, and full-wave rectifiers 4, 6 are connected through capacitors C1-C3 and C4-C6. Rectifiers 4-6 are connected in series with each other in the same polarity, thereby forming a 3-phase double voltage circuit. Accordingly, a gate signal is applied from the gate control circuit 27 to the bridge circuit 23, thereby obtaining +3/2E at a terminal 7, -3/2E at a terminal 8, 3E between terminals 7 and 8, and 2E between terminals 7 and 10 and obtaining a DC high voltage with a simple structure without transformer. |
